About
A comprehensive examination by a gynecologist, including necessary tests to assess women’s health. Additionally, screening for precancerous and cancerous changes in the cervix is offered.
What's included
- Gynecologist consultation (in English)
- Transvaginal ultrasound
- Flora smear, including the determination of: leukocytes, epithelial cells, gram-positive rods, gram-variable coccobacilli, gram-negative rods, clue cells, extracellular gram-negative diplococci, intracellular gram-negative diplococci, spores, hyphae (Candida albicans), trichomonads
Additionally, you can choose a screening package to detect precancerous and cancerous changes in the cervix:
- Cervical liquid cytology
- HPV DNA (human papillomavirus - 14 types)
Preparation
- The procedure should be performed outside of menstruation.
- 3 days before: limit sexual intercourse, do not douche, avoid vaginal suppositories, creams, and gels.
- On the day of the procedure: clean the genital area with water, without antiseptics.
If the oncoscreening programme is selected:
- It is recommended to schedule the examination at least 5 days after the end of menstruation.
