A specialized series of images for diagnosing impingement syndrome, a condition in which the shoulder tendons or bursa become compressed between the bones.
Preparation
- Remove metal objects (jewelry, piercings, belts, underwire bras).
- Wear comfortable, loose clothing or change into a hospital gown.
- Inform the technician if you are pregnant or may be pregnant.
- Inform about any metal implants, pacemakers, or prosthetics.
