Urinalysis with Microscopy
About
A general urine test with microscopy of sediment. Screens for urinary tract, kidney and metabolic disorders.
Preparation
Do not urinate for at least 3 hours before the test. Perform genital hygiene without antiseptics before collecting the sample. Use the container provided by the laboratory. Avoid diuretics for 48 hours before urine collection (as agreed with your doctor). Women: provide urine before menstruation or 2-3 days after it ends.
