Measures serum angiotensin-converting enzyme, used mainly in the diagnosis and monitoring of sarcoidosis.
Preparation
Avoid fatty foods 24 hours before the test. Do not eat for 12 hours before the test. Avoid renin inhibitors for 7 days before the test. Do not smoke for 30 minutes before the test.
