Measures insulin, the hormone regulating blood glucose. Used to investigate diabetes, insulin resistance and hypoglycemia.
Preparation
Do not eat for 12 hours before the test. Completely avoid medications for a day before the test (as agreed with your doctor). Do not smoke for 3 hours before the test.
