Preparation

General Preparation for Health Screening
What to Bring
  • Please bring your previous medical records, vaccination book, X-ray, MRI, or CT scan results (if available), glasses (if you wear them), or a contact lens case (if you use contact lenses).
  • Carry a valid identification card (Passport, KTP, or Driver's License).
General Advice
  • Fast for 10-12 hours before your health screening appointment. Drinking plain water is allowed. Fasting helps ensure accurate results for blood tests, including glucose, cholesterol, and triglycerides.
  • Inform our staff of any medications you are currently taking before undergoing any health screening procedures (via the pre-visit screening form).

Medical Tests & Procedures
1. X-Ray and CT Scan
  • Do not proceed with X-rays or CT scans if there is a possibility that you are pregnant.
2. Ultrasound
  • You will be asked to lie on an examination bed.
  • An ultrasound gel will be applied to the area being examined. This gel does not stain and can be wiped off easily.
  • A probe will be moved over the examination area. There should be no pain or discomfort.
3. Abdominal Ultrasound
  • Do not eat for at least 4–6 hours before the examination.
  • If you are a smoker, refrain from smoking on the day of your appointment until after the ultrasound is completed.
4. MRI
  • Inform our staff if you have any pacemaker, implants, or dentures.
  • Please inform our staff if you have claustrophobia (fear of confined space) prior to the examination day.

Laboratory Test
1. Blood Test
Fasting Blood Glucose / Lipid Profile / Triglycerides
  • Fast for 8–12 hours before the test (only water permitted).
  • Avoid alcohol and high-fat meals the night before.
PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen)
  • Avoid ejaculation for 48 hours before the test.
  • Avoid vigorous exercise, especially cycling, for 48 hours prior.
  • Refrain from undergoing prostate manipulation (e.g., DRE, biopsy) for at least 6 weeks before testing.

2. Stool Test
Stool for Occult Blood (FOBT)
  • Avoid red meat, iron supplements, aspirin, NSAIDs, and Vitamin C supplements for 3 days before testing.
